About:
Crassula rupestris also known as ‘Bride’s Bouquet’ is a pretty hybrid which has smaller leaves, little narrower, very smooth top and bottom. It grows slowly up to 15 cm tall and is good as ground cover or in hanging basket. It has stiff stems, but the plant will easily fall down due to the weight. The leaves are light greyish-green to dark green appearing a nice bright green overall, opposite, thick, elliptic no larger than a thumb nail. The keel or bottom of the leaf is rough at the tip, which is pointed.
Planting Media: Use soilrite mix thoroughly mixed with sand and pebbles (1-1.5cm). The soil mixture must be well drained.
Water: The best way to water succulents is with the “soak and dry” method. Soak the soil completely then let the soil dry out completely before watering again. Make sure the succulents are in a well draining soil in a pot with a drainage hole.
For indoor succulents, it is generally best if water doesn’t get on top of the leaves. If it sits on a leaf for too long it can cause rot. This isn’t as much of an issue for outdoor succulents because there is more airflow and the water will dry out quicker.
Sunlight: It prefers shady places with partial sunlight.
