It produces clusters of huge trumpet-shaped 2-4 flowers per bulb. Kreetika is one of the flowering hybrids of Amaryllis Hippeastrum double hybrids which produce red margined trumpet shaped white colored double flowering blooms with prominent red streaked throats and white colored stamens in the early spring. They make lovely cut flowers for arrangements. The leaves and flowers arise from a large bulb which be used as a potted plant for decorating. Before flowering, the bulbs produce long strapped shaped medium green leaves which can grow up to 18 inches long.

Planting Media: Use ordinary garden soil thoroughly mulched with sand and well decayed cow manure. The soil must be well drained.
Water: Need to water regularly during active growth period. Stop watering when the leaves turn yellow. Keep the soil moist.
Sunlight: It prefers full sunlight but can also do well in partly shaded places.
Pot culture: 8 inches pot is recommended for a single bulb for proper growth. Plant the bulb up to its neck in the potting compost, being careful not to damage the roots. Press the soil down firmly to set the bulb securely in place after planting. Loves warm and humid atmosphere.
