About:
Amaryllis Hippeastrelia is a rare man-made bigeneric hybrid in the ’70s. This cross of Hippeastrum (amaryllis) and Sprekelia formosissima (Aztec lily) created the perfect combination of the two plants. The flowers are a rarely seen deep red. This variety will perform best in dry places with a well drained spot in full baking sun. This is one of the best hippeastrum in single flowering hybrids.
