Sansevieria trifasciata black star is a species of flowering plant in the family Asparagaceae. Sansevieria Black Star is a compact Snake Plant that is just perfect for table and desk tops. Black Star’s dark green leaves with bright yellow variegation grow to be about 8″ tall.  Sansevieria Black Star is hardy, drought tolerant and low maintenance air purifier houseplant for shade areas, it does not require to be fed or watered frequently and does exceedingly well in poor light indoor conditions.

Flowering season: Summer and autumn

Planting Media: Soilrite mix would be a perfect planting medium for all kinds of plants.  If required pebbles (1-1.5cm) can be added to the mix to make sure the planting medium is well drained.

Water: Allow the soil to dry completely before watering. When watering water deeply until water starts dripping through the drainage hole. Allow the pot to drain and then discard the water that remains in the saucer. Never allow the soil to become soggy and never let the pot stand in water.

Note: While watering take care and try not to damage the leaf tips, as this can stop the plant from growing.

Sunlight: It prefers moderately bright filtered indirect sunlight.
