Tetragous /Fairy Castle

Cereus Tetragonus also known as Green finger, Fairy Castle, Fairytale Castle is a dwarf, slow growing cactus with many mid-green branches which resembles the turrets of a castle. Cacti needs perfect growing conditions to produce flowers and the plants in the Cereus family which bloom at night. It is one of the most commonly sold indoor cacti because of its popularity among beginners.

Flowering Season: The flowers are large and white or yellow and usually will bloom in summer.

Planting Media: Use soilrite mix thoroughly mixed with sand and pebbles (1-1.5cm). The soil mixture must be well drained.

Water: Water regularly, about once a week during the growing season. Allow the soil to dry completely before watering again. Water less during winter and monsoon seasons

Sunlight: It prefers full to partial shade. Place the cactus in a bright sunny location that is away from drafts or air conditioning but avoid direct afternoon sun in summer.
