Canna Durban is an exotic variety that will make a striking display full of exciting color. The variegated foliage is the main attraction with the giant leaves producing stripes of yellow, green, red and pink. From mid-summer to the first frosts, vibrant orange flowers on red stems emerge from the colorful foliage adding extra impact to this show stopping Canna. It is a vigorous and easy to grow addition to your borders, patio pots and containers which can grow up to 120cm tall and spread up to 60cm wide.

Planting Media: Use ordinary garden soil thoroughly mulched with sand and well decayed cow manure. The soil must be well drained.
Water: Once established, canna “Durban” can thrive in both dry and humid weather, as long as you provide it with extra water as needed. Avoid planting canna in water-logged soil, as it will not do well if it is constantly soaked. Ideally, canna likes regular watering when the top 3 inches of soil is dry.
Sunlight: Canna “Durban” performs best in full sun, but can tolerate partial shade and some shelter.
Pot culture: A single rhizome can be planted in one 8 inches pot for proper growth.
