Curcuma Alismatifolia White (Curcuma alismata),also known as the Siam Tulip, has beautiful white bracts that are held well above the foliage. Suitable for the garden or in a large pot, the flowers last a few weeks as a cut flower and longer if left on the plant. Like many Curcumas, this is dormant until late spring and then flowers from midsummer until early to mid-autumn.

Planting Media: Use ordinary garden soil thoroughly mulched with sand and well decayed cow manure. The soil must be well drained.
Water: Water on a regular basis to keep the soil moist but do not overwater.
Sunlight: It does well in full bright outdoor sunlight but can also tolerate partly shady places.
Pot culture: Use 8 inches pot to plant 2 bulbs keeping even spaces between them.
