Monstera Adansonii/ Swiss Cheese Plant

Monstera adansonii, also known as the Swiss cheese plant, is a unique plant with beautiful heart-shaped leaves. Because of the oval-shaped holes or fenestrations dappled throughout the leaf, it’s sometimes called Monstera adansonii Swiss cheese, or simply swiss cheese plant. This lovely monstera has glossy, green leaf surfaces and is incredibly easy to grow. It taken good care of the plant can grow up to 5 feet tall.

Flowering season: N/A

Planting Media: Soilrite mix would be a perfect planting medium for all kinds of plants.  If required pebbles (1-1.5cm) can be added to the mix to make sure the planting medium is well drained.

Water: Water when the soil is completely dried out. Water judiciously only when needed and make sure the water flows through the drainage hole at the bottom of your pots. Discard any water that has accumulated to avoid water clogging.

Sunlight: Monstera can grow just about anywhere in your home as it tolerates low light. It grows faster and becomes more dramatic in spots where there is plenty of bright light. But you need to avoid strong direct sunlight because it may burn the leaves.
