About:
Brasilicactus Haselbergii also known as Ball cactus, Parodia Haselbergii, Notocactus Haselbergii, is a very popular cactus with silvery white spines and a heavy bloomer that can sport showy bright orange flowers for a long period of time. It is a solitary, fast growing, little cactus. The crown of the plant is usually set at an angle to prevent water-sitting.
Flowering Season: The bright to brick red flowers bloom heavily during spring and each can last one to three weeks.
Planting Media: Use soilrite mix thoroughly mixed with sand and pebbles (1-1.5cm). The soil mixture must be well drained.
Water: Like most cacti they’re drought tolerant and need very little care and attention to grow well. It can support quite some water during the growing season. Allow the soil to dry out between watering.
Sunlight: Bright but partially filtered sunlight will keep the cacti happier, subject to sunburn if exposed to direct sun for too long.
