Calathea goeppertia ‘Thai beauty’ is a popular plant among home gardeners. It is a species of perennial plant in the family known as the prayer plants. They can be a little tougher to keep than an average house plant. But with proper care and condition, they are sure to paint your space wonderfully. These are ornamental foliage plants which has green to light green with yellowish golden leaves which does well in shady places.

Planting Media: Soilrite mix would be a perfect planting medium for all kinds of plants.  If required pebbles (1-1.5cm) can be added to the mix to make sure the planting medium is well drained.

Water: Calathea goeppertia like to have moist soil or planting substances, but not soggy. During the winter months it is important to keep the plant watered but do allow the top soil to dry out in between watering’s. Water when the soil begins to dry or keep the top soil moist in warmer months.

Sunlight: This plant does extremely well in bright conditions without the need for direct sunlight. A place which receives bright light indoors will be a suitable place for this variety.
