Astrophytum Capricorne Minor is also known as Goat’s Horn Cactus. It is a small growing variety of Astrophytum capricorne. it has thin and twisted spines covering its body. The flowers are diurnal which typically open in the morning and close just before the sunset.
Flowering Season: The magnificent flowers are yellow with a red or orange centre that covers the whole body like an umbrella which occurs in between spring to early summer.
Planting Media: Use soilrite mix thoroughly mixed with sand and pebbles (1-1.5cm). The soil mixture must be well drained.
Water: Water regularly, about once a week during the growing season. Allow the soil to dry completely before watering again.
Sunlight: They typically don’t like direct afternoon sunlight and should be in partial shade through the hottest hours.
