About:
Chincherinchee (ornithogalum) also commonly known as ‘Star of Bethlehem’ is a part of the Asparagaceae family. It is a bulbous perennial with narrow, semi-erect, grass-like, linear leaves which produces white with striped green on the outside, star shaped flowers on green stems which grow up to a feet tall. Flowers open near noon and close at sunset or in cloudy weather.

Planting Media: Use ordinary garden soil thoroughly mulched with sand and well decayed cow manure. The soil must be well drained.
Water: Need to water till the soil gets moist. Make sure the soil mixture is fertile and well-drained.
Sunlight: It prefers full sunlight to partly shady places
Pot culture: Use 8 inch pot for 4 bulbs. You need to plant bulbs vertically covering the entire bulb at least 3 inch below the soil.
