About:
Crassula Ovata is commonly known as the ‘Hummel’s Sunset’ is a shrubby succulent which can grow up to 90 cm tall. It has spectacular green oval leaves with golden and yellow colors around the edges. The colour of the leaves occur specially in the cooler months. They produce small white flowers with a hint of lavender in late fall to winter.
Planting Media: Use soilrite mix thoroughly mixed with sand and pebbles (1-1.5cm). The soil mixture must be well drained.
Water: The best way to water succulents is with the “soak and dry” method. Soak the soil completely then let the soil dry out completely before watering again. And make sure the succulents are in a well-draining soil in a pot with a drainage hole.
Sunlight: Crassula ovata ‘hummels sunset’ needs strong light. When planting this succulent type in a garden, make sure it gets sunlight. Full to partial sun is the best for its growth. It is better to grow outdoor rather than indoors.
