About:
Mammillaria Bella is a very slow growing clustery cactus which has variable habit and heavy supination that produces showy deep pink to magenta flowers. ‘Bella’ usually stays solitary and has 4-6 white central spines with red tips. Mammillaria Bella is one of the several thousand species of diverse, stunning and elegant cactus varieties.
Flowering Season: Summer
Planting Media: Use soilrite mix thoroughly mixed with sand and pebbles (1-1.5cm). The soil mixture must be well drained.
Water: It requires moderate watering in summers and no water in the winter season. Watering is needed only once a week during summers.
Sunlight: It requires bright indirect light if kept indoors and afternoon shade if kept outdoors for good flowering and spine maturation. It is susceptible to sunburn if moved quickly from shade to complete sunlight and hence needs time for adapting.
