Peperomia Rosso

The tropical plant, Peperomia Rosso, is a sport of the popular Peperomia Caperata. Peperomia ‘Rosso’, more correctly known as Peperomia ‘Eden Rosso’, is an eye-catcher because of its red color on the underside of the leaf. The upper surface of the pointed leaves is dark green, sometimes with a blush of red, and dark green veins. These plants do, indeed, resemble pepper plants and are related to true black pepper.

Flowering Season: N/A

Planting Media: Soilrite mix would be a perfect planting medium for all kinds of plants.  If required pebbles (1-1.5cm) can be added to the mix to make sure the planting medium is well drained.

Water: Water once or twice a week, depending on season. Allow soil to dry out almost completely before watering thoroughly.

Sunlight: It prefers medium to bright light. It can also tolerate low light as it is not suited for intense, direct sun.
