About:
The Red King Humbert is a large variety of canna lily desirable for its distinctive foliage, which slowly turns from green to an exotic reddish-bronze. The plant can grow up to 6 feet tall. It produces showy tropical flowers which range from bright red to reddish orange, and bloom in mid-to-late summer. Red King Humbert canna lilies, like all cannas, thrive in warm, humid weather. They grow on tender rhizomes which cannot tolerate freezing temperatures.
Bulb Size: 1-2 eyed Rhizomes
Flowering Season: Mid-to-late summer
Available Month: March to May
Planting Media: Use ordinary garden soil thoroughly mulched with sand and well decayed cow manure. The soil must be well drained.

Sunlight: It performs best in full sun, but can tolerate partial shade and some shelter.
Pot culture: A single rhizome can be planted in one 8 inches pot for proper growth.
