Senecio “Hippogriff” also known as the String of Dolphins is a beautiful Succulent with leaves that look like tiny dolphins jumping out of the waves. It grows up to 15 cm tall and as they grow they become more and more similar, perfecting themselves as an impressive potted succulent. It give small white tightly compact puffball flowers in fall, Each bloom has a halo of deep red to golden yellow filaments.
Planting Media: Use soilrite mix thoroughly mixed with sand and pebbles (1-1.5cm). The soil mixture must be well drained.
Water: The best way to water succulents is with the “soak and dry” method. Soak the soil completely then let the soil dry out completely before watering again. And make sure the succulents are in a well-draining soil in a pot with a drainage hole.
Sunlight: The String of Dolphins likes bright indirect light but doesn’t tolerate direct sunlight. It does well in winter.
