About:
Echeveria shavianais a tender, soft, evergreen succulent. The edges of the leaves are very ruffled, crinkled, frilly and wavy often with a pink tinge on the edges. This decorative species is a slow grower but over time plants can reach about 8” inches across. The thin, delicate leaves make shaviana unique in the Echeveria genus as the leaves and foliage on most other varieties has a somewhat “chubby” look. This variety produces pink flowers with yellow insides which are all arranged on one side of the flower stalk.
Planting Media: Use soilrite mix thoroughly mixed with sand and pebbles (1-1.5cm). The soil mixture must be well drained.
Water: The best way to water succulents is with the “soak and dry” method. Soak the soil completely then let the soil dry out completely before watering again. Make sure the succulents are in a well draining soil in a pot with a drainage hole.
For indoor succulents, it is generally best if water doesn’t get on top of the leaves. If it sits on a leaf for too long it can cause rot. This isn’t as much of an issue for outdoor succulents because there is more airflow and the water will dry out quicker.
Sunlight: Plants prefer bright light but can handle some light shade.

I received plant with bloom stalks. I thought it would be ok to keep bloom stalk because Kolkata is mostly humid zone but plant dried out very quickly even after watering it thoroughly. It’s better to cut off the bloom stalk as that drains lot of energy due to which plant cannot sustain after long journey.
