About:
Haworthia Subattenoata also formerly known as haworthia attenuata variegata, is a beautiful succulent that forms rosettes of fleshy variegated leave. It produces offsets and grows in clumps. The rosettes are up to 6 inches tall and 6 inches wide. Leaves are dark green, marbled with irregular patterns of creamy-white, yellow or pinkish variegation and with white tubercles on both surfaces. It generally flowers between spring to fall.
Planting Media: Use soilrite mix thoroughly mixed with sand and pebbles (1-1.5cm). The soil mixture must be well drained.
Water: The best way to water succulents is with the “soak and dry” method. Soak the soil completely then let the soil dry out completely before watering again. And make sure the succulents are in a well draining soil in a pot with a drainage hole.
For indoor succulents, it is generally best if water doesn’t get on top of the leaves. If it sits on a leaf for too long it can cause rot. This isn’t as much of an issue for outdoor succulents because there is more airflow and the water will dry out quicker.
Sunlight: Even though most species can tolerate full sun, these succulents thrive in semi-shaded positions. However the plant needs to be placed in a bright area with some protection from the hottest rays of the day to bring out the leaf coloration.
