About:
Echeveria runyonii ‘Topsy Turvy’ Cristata is an interesting leaf form of Echeveria runyonii, which is a pale blue to white-blue leaf Echeveria with normal shaped leaves. However, this ‘Topsy Turvy’ form is much more popular, so the ‘regular’ form is quite rare in cultivation. The rare crested form produces magnificent, fun shaped silvery, leaf rosettes and it may assume many fascinating shapes. This leaves are some of the most unique curling and twisting leaves among the Echeverias, looking as if they are turned inside out. It produces showy bright orange, apricot and pink on tall arching racemes.
Planting Media: Use soilrite mix thoroughly mixed with sand and pebbles (1-1.5cm). The soil mixture must be well drained.
Water: The best way to water succulents is with the “soak and dry” method. Soak the soil completely then let the soil dry out completely before watering again. Make sure the succulents are in a well draining soil in a pot with a drainage hole.
For indoor succulents, it is generally best if water doesn’t get on top of the leaves. If it sits on a leaf for too long it can cause rot. This isn’t as much of an issue for outdoor succulents because there is more airflow and the water will dry out quicker.
Sunlight: It does well in full to partial sun. We need to plant in an area of your garden that gets 6 hours of sunlight a day. If planting indoors, place in a room that gets a lot of sunlight.
