About:
Lycoris radiata, known as the red spider lily, hell flower, red magic lily, or equinox flower, is a plant in the amaryllis family, Amaryllidaceae, subfamily Amaryllidoideae. It normally flowers before the leaves fully appear on stems 30–70 centimeters tall. The leaves are parallel-sided, 0.5–1 centimeters wide with a paler central stripe. The red flowers are arranged in umbels. Individual flowers are irregular, with narrow segments which curve backwards and long projecting stamens.

Available Month: July-August
Planting Media: Use ordinary garden soil thoroughly mulched with sand and well decayed cow manure. The soil must be well drained.
Water: Water judiciously till growth starts and then just keep the bulb moist but not soggy till the flowering completes
Sunlight: Prefers sunny, semi sunny parts of your garden
Pot culture: Use 8 inches pot for 3 bulbs covering the entire bulb 2 inches below the planting media.
